Mission Statement
Victory Christian Fellowship exists
to reach the
un-churched; spiritually, emotionally and physically; to
facilitate the healing and maturity of the Church Body,
and then release them to ministry.
Victory Christian Fellowship and Valley Gate
Recovery Center are hospitals where the Gospel
of salvation is to be preached; where the brokenhearted
and those who have been emotionally abused are to be
healed; and where the physically infirmed are to be
healed through the preaching of faith.
Victory Christian Fellowship is to make disciples for
the Lord Jesus Christ and is to be known for its
love, praise and power.
Mission Scripture
Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the
poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to
preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."

Reaching Others...Beyond Our Borders
From its conception, Victory
Christian Fellowship has reached out to touch the lives of others.
Early in the ministry of Victory Christian Fellowship the Lord shared with
Pastor Robles that this ministry would reach not only Fremont, but also the
surrounding communities.
During the past twenty-two years people from cities, towns, and villages around
this area have attended services at VCF. Many of these individuals consequently
decided to make this their church home.
Truly, the vision God first shared with Pastor Robles has come to pass.

In 1980 the Holy Spirit
prompted Scott Robles to quit his high paying job of four years. Under the
direction of God's Spirit, Scott, Bunny, and their two children Bryan and
Valerie moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Scott attended Rhema Bible Training
Center. Upon completion of the two year Pastoral Studies program, and with the
call of God on their lives, they felt impressed to move back to their hometown
of Fremont, and begin a new work for God. Thus, Victory Christian Fellowship
opened its doors July 10, 1983 in a gymnasium at Lutz Elementary School. The
first service had an attendance of 35 excited people who had prayed for a Word
church. With no music, Pastor Robles led praise and worship with confidence and
boldness, ushering God's presence into this new work.

Victory Christian Fellowship had
one Sunday School classroom and a nursery. The two were held in the school
cafeteria and separated only by stand-up folded tables. As the congregation grew
in number, a youth class was added and held in one of the school's classrooms.
Church activities included: an annual church picnic that was held at East Side
Park, a Holiday Dinner around Thanksgiving, and in the spring of 1987 a Kickball
League for ages seven through twelve was started. Monthly Ladies' Breakfasts
started in 1986 at a local restaurant.

Over the next three years
Victory Christian Fellowship increased in number to over 250 and outgrew the
small gymnasium of Lutz School. Ground breaking for a new facility was held in
June of 1987 on land purchased in 1986, and soon construction for the new
facility was underway. Victory Christian Fellowship's first service in its first
constructed auditorium was held in December of 1987. Victory Christian
Fellowship has grown from 35 to over 900 people, and is still growing. God has
continually opened many doors for VCF to be an outreach for others. In 1993
VCF's counseling center, Valley Gate Recovery Center, opened its door to offer
help and healing to the emotionally brokenhearted.

God is currently presenting us with another
opportunity to expand our outreach to others. The vision to build for others is
now birthed into reality with this stewardship campaign: Stretching Our
Faith, The Second Mile.
